CAITLYN BLOXHAM
Physiotherapist/Owner
Caitlyn earned her Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Otago in 2014. She has since pursued extensive postgraduate education, obtaining a Certificate in Manual Therapy from the New Zealand Manipulative Physiotherapists Association (NZMPA) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Western Acupuncture from Auckland University of Technology (AUT).
Beginning her physiotherapy career in the Waikato region, Caitlyn later moved north after meeting her partner. She gained valuable experience working in the Kaipara and Rodney districts before founding Maungaturoto Physio in October 2021. Caitlyn is passionate about all aspects of private practice and sports physiotherapy. She collaborates closely with the local Otamatea Hawks rugby team, providing game-day support. Her dedication to sports extends internationally; she has traveled to the United States with the New Zealand Secondary Schools Football team as part of their medical support staff.
Outside of her professional life, Caitlyn cherishes time spent with her partner, children, and their array of animals. She is proud to call Maungaturoto home.

AIMEE LEAMING
Physiotherapist
Aimee graduated with distinction from the University of Otago in 2020. She is passionate about musculoskeletal injuries and employs a comprehensive treatment approach that includes soft tissue techniques, mobilization, and personalized exercise prescriptions. Aimee emphasizes setting realistic goals with her patients, integrating both holistic and practical strategies to enhance overall well-being. Recently, she has incorporated dry needling into her repertoire and plans to expand her expertise by studying Yoga and Pilates in 2025.
Originally from Kerikeri, Aimee is well-acquainted with Northland life. Since relocating to Maungaturoto, she has been enthusiastic about immersing herself in the local community. In her free time, Aimee enjoys hiking, reading, and boating. She also contributes to the community by coaching gymnastics locally.
